I recently (1.5 years ago, that’s “recently” in my book) came out as nonbinary/transmasculine (these two are not mutually exclusive). My personal (therefore also anecdotal) experience as “becoming” a man has taught me that, in fact, there are differences between men and women…or to be more precise, that there are non-physical differences between the woman I identified as in the past and the man I identify as now.

An example of such a difference would be my feelings about different types of literature and other media (movies or tv). It wasn’t overnight, but my tastes have changed since identifying as male, and not because I “think they should”. However, I can’t 100% attribute this to being male as opposed to being female, for reasons I don’t need to go into here; ergo, while FOR ME I say “now that I’m a man I like this and not this that I used to like”, I realize that’s very much not a scientific conclusion.

One thing I would NEVER say is that now that I’m a man I’m more logical, or better in any other way, than a woman. That’s just…it’s sick.

And of course I’m well aware that most Red Pillers don’t even believe in the concept of transgender so…I’m really just talking to myself here. Bottom line, men might or might not be “different” from women…but they’re definitely not better.
